This portrait of beloved queer ancestor Shatzi Weisberger aka “The People’s Bubbie” was created during the Israeli siege on Gaza in May 2021. It was a collaboration between Shatzi, Eliza Klein, Elena Stein, Jewish Voice for Peace NYC and me.
